This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.

Get acquainted with Matt Cusson, folks. The guy has a wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Cusson - I don’t know how accurate it is, though (haha!). But in short, super talented singer, songwriter, musician, and has worked/performed with Brian McKnight, Stevie Wonder, Javier Colon, and so on…and so on… and so on.
We’re planning on collaborating more in the near future - writing, singing duets, shows, etc. but thought this long-distance video collab would be a good way to start things off…and at the same time honor one of the greats in music.
Hope all of you enjoy. Love y’all tremendously! I mean it. -mp

Mmhmm chills, I am indeed digging this cover. The piano arrangement is amazing, and I love her beautiful voice :]
Have you ever had one of those songs that brings you back to that exact moment, to that exact place, to that exact time of which you first heard it? That moment in your life that the song can gracefully play in the background if relived. You remember what you were wearing that day, the emotions you felt, the person you were with, the smell of the air, your surroundings.
I came across this song, again, not too long ago. And I indeed it brought me back to that moment. Those moments. Flashes of memories play through my mind, eyes opened or closed. There will always be a song. Graceful. Or horrifying. Maybe even the best of both worlds.
I’m sorry I haven’t been there.
I hope you’re okay.
